Cody Hull -Crafty and engaging on-stage and off, Cody has already emerged as a leading light in a new generation of bluegrass musicians. He and his sister Sierra Hull, were featured performers on the Great High Mountain Tour, which included an all-star bluegrass lineup performing songs from the soundtracks of the hit movies O Brother Where Art Thou and Cold Mountain. A seasoned performer, he has appeared numerous times on the legendary stage of the Grand Ole Opry, countless radio and television shows and won numerous guitar competitions. Hull is no stranger to sharing the spotlight with highly acclaimed bluegrass legends such as, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Jerry Douglas,Tony Rice, Ralph Stanley,Ricky Skaggs, Adam Steffey,The Whites, The Cox family and countless others. He and his sister have traveled the nation pursuing their career, as well Japan and other countries. In 2009, Hull received a music scholarship to ETSU where he studied music and was mentored by music legends Adam Steffey and Tim Stafford to name a few. When being asked what performing means to you, he responded with, “ When you look out at the crowd and see a smile on a person's face, it humbles you - it gives you the drive to give your all, even if it’s just for that one person whose listening.” His talent and passion never fails to awe even the most seasoned of music lovers. “It’s amazing to listen to his uncommonly high vocal range, driving rhythm and tasty guitar licks. His soft, yet driving voice awes crowds and he leads his band with precision and agility. With a new record on the way, filled with songs written and arranged by himself, there’s no doubt this young mans future in music seems to be bright!
